The Energy Commercialization Center was formed after the University of Utah's Technology Commercialization Office (TCO) was awarded one of five grants from the Department of Energy to create an Innovation Ecosystem. Our mission at the ECC is to help accelerate the deployment of renewable and energy efficient technologies in the market place from National Labs and Universities. Learn more »

The "ecosystem" that is being created incorporates industry experts, academic resources, venture capital groups, angel investors, start-up assistance, legal assistance, and what will soon be the largest available pool of clean energy intellectual property in the region.
